After a brief (3 yr.) start in Los Angeles, I was raised mostly in Ohio by a CPA + an Artist/Chef. My parents both nurtured my early love of drawing + making things. Our family moved around a lot when I was young, so as an adult, I was comfortable being drawn to multiple locations for extended stays; always maintaining a studio wherever I landed. After Art school, I lived + worked in artist communities in Ohio + California, experimenting with large-scale Polaroids, Papier Mache sculptures, painting murals for corporations and private residences, opening/operating a music performance + visual arts space in San Francisco, managing/curating galleries, and studio production set design/set building for music videos, commercials + sitcoms in Los Angeles. In 2000, I moved back to Ohio to help with family matters, met my soul mate and began working on commissioned bronzes and murals for the Columbus Zoo. I also became a freelance creative consultant for local and regional brands which segued into a full-time creative role for a local/global giant. I currently live + work at my studio on the westside of Columbus, Ohio.
